Cyclops Factory Upgrade Alarm
Dynamco has upgraded the OE Upgrade, higher current immobilisation and multiple plug-in sensors available; to name only a few of the improvements. This Australian Standards Upgrade Alarm transforms an Original Equipment vehicle keyless entry system into an Australian Standards alarm system. The system is operated by the vehicles original equipment remote and has Entry point protection of doors, boot and bonnet with an intelligent glass break sensor. Audible warning is achieved via an Australian Standards 115dB battery back up siren, visually via the vehicle indicators and via a dash mounted red LED. The system has status / diagnostic reporting. The system can provide two additional circuits of immobilisation.
Proudly Australian - Designed and engineered in Perth, Western Australia.
Operation |
- Arming procedure while ignition is off
The system will arm immediately when the lock button of the remote control supplied by the car manufacturer is pressed.
- Disarming procedure
Press the unlock button of the remote control supplied by the car manufacturer.
- Auto Arming feature
System will auto-arm only if the car has a automatic re-locking feature .
Immobilisation |
- Two independent circuits of immobilisation
30 Amp rated, normally open contacts.
- Safety circuitry incase of power failure
System sources alternate power from ignition if main power is lost.
- Third circuit of immobilisation (optional)
Additional immobilisation circuits can be added to conform with insurance company requirements .
On-board relays |
- Protection against harsh road conditions
All relays are fully encapsulated to provide protection against dust and moisture.
Wiring |
- Security wiring
All cables extending from the module are black and same diameter.
- Plug and play for service
Designed to allow easy access for service technicians.
- Security housing
Connector plug is enclosed within module case to prevent access by thief.
- Stealth wiring
Cutting any immobilisation wiring will still leave the car secure.
Override |
- Emergency Personal Identification Number override
Enter the secret four digits to override the immobiliser .
- Alterable PIN
Users can change the numbers of their secret override PIN .
- High security keys and lock
Disable siren sound when vehicle is taken in for service.
- PIN card
Secret override PIN is supplied on handy 90mm x 50mm card.
Visual Output |
- Super bright red dash LED
This LED flashes to inform user when system is armed. The LED is mounted on the driver's side dash and is visible from outside the window.
- Arm/Disarm confirmation
System flashes car indicators when arming or disarming .
- Alarm illumination
System flashes car indicators when thief triggers alarm.
- Trigger diagnostics
System will flash indicators to report the last triggered circuit.
Audio Output |
- Large battery backup siren
AS/NZS 3749.1:2003 Class A approved 115dB siren, sounds even if battery terminals are disconnected from vehicle battery.
- Negative siren output
Can be used to trigger car horn relay or siren.
- Arm/Disarm confirmation
System sounds a siren when arming and disarming .
Intrusion Detection |
- Doors, bonnet and boot monitoring
Triggers alarm system if intruder opens any protected entry point in vehicle .
- False alarm prevention
All circuits detected as triggered when arming system will automatically be isolated until trigger resets.
- Sensor sockets
Compatible sensors plug straight into main pcb.
- Audio glass breakage detection
Uses the sound of the breaking glass to trigger (not vibration) GBS-4XR.
- Accepts plug-in Ultra-sonic sensor
Sensor produces a 40KHz sound wave and measures echo to detect intruder, ACC-001.
- Accepts plug-in single zone microwave sensor
Sensor produces a microwave field to detect intruder, ACC-003.
- Accepts plug-in dual zone microwave sensor
Sensor produces two microwave fields, exterior field to sound siren as warning, interior to trigger alarm in full, ACC-004.
- Accepts plug-in single stage shock sensor
Sensor measures vibration subjected to vehicle to detect intruder, SEN-002.
- Accepts plug-in two stage shock sensor
Sensor measures two levels of shock, soft shock to sound siren as warning, heavy shock to trigger alarm in full, SEN-006.
- Compatible with tilt sensor
Sensor measures vehicle angle with respect to earth, triggers if angle changes - no response to vibration SEN-004.
- Millivolt or Voltage drop protection
Alarm monitors battery voltage, triggers if voltage drop due to courtesy light switched from off to on (opening boot etc) .
Specifications |
- Current draw
<10mA average while armed
<250mA disarm (and for no more than 39 seconds after ignition is switched off).
- Operating voltage
Operating voltage +9VDC to +15VDC.
- Operating temperature
-20 degrees to +85 degrees for equipment designed to be installed within vehicle cabin.
- Polarity protection
Accidentally reversing the battery leads will not damage the system.
- Independent indicator power fuse
System uses independent fuse to power indicators, ensures short circuit in indicator circuit does not affect system operation.
- Short circuit protection
Fuse protected in case any high power wiring is sheared through and shorted circuited.
Convenience Functions |
- Electric window closer
Provides signals used by electric window closers, system will close all electric windows when armed by remote control .
- Full diagnostic report
Remove and insert main power fuse to receive report of last three triggers.
