Transponder Immobiliser
A Transponder immobiliser uses a small plastic tag containing a digital signature device to disarm the immobiliser. The tag is attached to the driver's keyring. As the ignition key is brought into close proximity of the ignition switch, the immobiliser is disarmed. The immobiliser is designed to always automatically arm 40 seconds after the ignition switch is switched off.
